Graphic Artist
I am a skilled and motivated professional with a knack for creative problem-solving and a keen eye for detail. I’m constantly looking out to acquire new skills and take on more responsibilities. I enjoy finding innovative ways to boost creativity, productivity, and efficiency, as well as overcoming challenges and improving processes to maximize productivity. I'm dedicated to staying updated and adapting in any work environment.
Ever since I graduated from with a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, I’ve had the opportunity to be in various creative environments, whose attention has enabled me to enhance my professional growth and knowledge, implementing skills which has benefited my creative, practical and technical skills and to create innovative solutions with a high degree of quality. In both public and private sector, individuals and businesses. In fields ranging from advertising, editorial to educational content.
At the beginning of these experiences, I started as a creative designer in an advertisement firm, which was where I started my contribution to the professional world. I designed in several publishing media such as brochures, posters, design magazine covers and editorial pages.
Professional Start
Initiated career in advertising design.
Diverse Creative Environments
Gained experience in various sectors.
Skill Development
Enhanced creative, practical, and technical skills.
I transitioned into the digital medium in that same agency, where I started to develop web pages primarily in Flash (back in the day), whose nature was dynamic and interactive. Each project was a challenge with different learning opportunities: I designed each applying new techniques that I learned from the last. Satisfactorily wrapping everything with new digital methods in AS2 and HTML and displaying proposals in an effective, entertaining and professional manner.
These experiences have taught me to consider time and movement. Thinking beyond static images and focusing on how an idea can become a fluid interpretation without losing its message (or intention).
I developed projects in animation, digital video (using motion graphics) and combining everything in video editing. The mixture of these skills helped me adapt quickly to new applications (like Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects).
Most of the time I was responsible for the projects from start to finish (from conceptualization to completion), so I had to learn how to streamline my resources and time, coordinating and prioritizing what elements should be done first in order to benefit from each of its elements.
Digital Transition
Shifted to digital medium, concentrating in dynamic web design.
Holistic Approach
Embraced time, motion, and space in creative endeavors.
Project Mastery
Led projects from concept to completion, optimizing resource use.
Following my departure from the advertisement firm, I came across various other several projects. But one of the cornerstones in my professional growth (and for the moment my favorite medium) was the opportunity to develop interactive educational content, which at that moment I was oblivious of such concept. However, I was able to familiarize myself with the creation of interactive educational content, online courses and discover the standards for compatibility in different e-Learning platforms and devices.
Everything that I’ve learned throughout my professional career, both in a technical and creative way, has helped me to better adapt to this field.
New Career Horizon
Explored diverse projects post-advertising firm.
Educational Content
Delved into interactive content and e-Learning standards.
Curriculum Development
Journey's lessons culminated in educational curriculum.
I recently discovered a new opportunity at a company specializing in the design and maintenance of a Learning Management System. While I had some exposure in this environment in my previous roles, delving into this new position revealed the depth and complexity beyond merely completing some Web Based Training courses. This lead me on a path to understand my role and its expectations, diving in the intricacies of transforming abstract concepts into practical, functional on-screen solutions.
This exploration prompted me to engage in extensive research to find the most effective ways to present complex ideas in a user-friendly and efficient manner. Along the way, I acquired new skills and embraced emerging technologies, which became a source of personal fulfillment and enrichment.
